  • Tailored Presentations: Elevate awareness within your community or organization with our specialized "How Can I Help" presentations. We bring insightful sessions directly to your group, business, or organization.

  • Flexible Scheduling: Our presentations are available at flexible times throughout the day, ensuring convenient access for all. Customize the length of the presentation to suit your schedule and audience needs.

  • Empowering Communities: These sessions are designed to equip neighbors, friends, family, and colleagues with the knowledge and skills to provide effective support to individuals facing domestic abuse. We empower communities to become a strong network of allies.

  • Comprehensive Information: Gain a comprehensive understanding of the services offered by the Women's Interval Home. Our presentations cover essential topics, including what constitutes abuse, reasons individuals may stay in abusive relationships, and the crucial steps taken after leaving an abusive partner.

To provide enhanced services, we established partnerships with community health centers in Forest, Petrolia, and Watford. This allowed us to offer additional hours of support. We understand that clients in rural areas face unique challenges, such as transportation limitations, isolation, confidentiality concerns, longer response times for law enforcement, affordable housing scarcity, and limited supportive resources.

Our County Outreach program offers a range of services, including individual supportive counselling, emotional support, domestic violence information, advocacy, risk assessment, safety planning, transitional and housing support, and children's counselling. These services are provided in person, virtually, and over the phone.

If you reside in the rural areas of Lambton County and are in need of support, our County Outreach program is here to help. Reach out to us to access our services and learn how we can assist you.

All our services are free and confidential.
