Seek refuge from violent or abusive relationships
The shelter provides Sarnia-Lambton with 17 Ministry funded emergency beds to house women and their dependents who are seeking refuge from violent/abusive relationships, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
We provide brief, solution-based, individual and group domestic violence counselling; case management, safety planning, support, advocacy and referral services for women.
Our children’s caseworkers offer emotional support, individual and group counseling services for children who have been exposed to abuse. Parenting support for moms, information and referrals to other service providers are also available.
