Community Conferencing

Community Conferencing uses the principles, philosophies, and values of Restorative Justice to promote relationship building, trust, and social-emotional skills. Communities (schools, organizations, businesses, neighbourhoods), learn how to address concerns, conflicts, feelings, and behaviour with restorative values. Two Restorative Justice facilitators will lead the community to resolve conflict and teach the principles and values of Restorative Justice.

Surrogates can be used in cases where one party cannot be located or chooses not to participate. Surrogates are people that have either caused similar harm or have been impacted by harm.
