Volunteers
Women’s Interval Home of Sarnia-Lambton would not be able to carry out the work we do without the assistance of our many dedicated and generous volunteers. Unfortunately due to covid-19 regulations, we are unable to accept volunteers inside of our shelter. Because of this, volunteer opportunities are limited at this time.
Volunteers are welcome to assist in the following areas at this time
- special events
- fundraising
- advocacy and education
How to apply
You are able to download our Volunteer Application form or pick it up from our reception office. All applications are screened. Please fill out the application form and email to info@womensintervalhome.com. Those that have the skills, experience and time availability that we are looking for will be contacted for an interview and selection process including completing of a police check and participation in training/volunteer orientation for selected volunteer role. If there are no suitable positions you will be notified by email and your application will be kept on file for 6 months.
