Shelter Program

The shelter provides Sarnia-Lambton, 17 Ministry funded emergency beds to house women and their dependants who are seeking refuge from violent/abusive relationships, 24 hours a day, 7days a week, 365 days a year.

We provide brief, solution-based, individual and group domestic violence counselling; case management, safety planning, support, advocacy and referral services for woman.

Our children’s caseworkers offer emotional support, individual and group counseling services for children who have been exposed to abuse. Parenting support for moms, information and referrals to other service providers are also available.

Fully Accessible; Wheelchair accessible; Easy access to elevator; Designated parking at entrance. Service animals and/or support persons that conform to the Accessibility Standards for Customer Service are permitted shelter stays at no cost.

All our services are free and confidential. Interpreters and childcare can be arranged when necessary.
