Plan a Fundraising Event

The Women’s Interval Home is only partially funded by the government, therefore we rely on the generous support of our community to help us cover the additional costs required to provide a safe place for women and children who have experienced domestic violence. Planning a third party fundraising event for our shelter is a great way to not only raise funds, but also advocate and create awareness on domestic violence in Sarnia-Lambton.

How to Plan an Event

step 1) Choose an event that you would like to organize. Some ideas include: a sporting tournament, an auction, a raffle, a BBQ, a gala… the possibilities are endless.

Step 2) Fill out our Third Party Fundraising application and email it to info@womensintervalhome.com

Organize an Item Drive

Running an item drive is a great way to create awareness of domestic abuse in your community while collecting items that women and children are most in need of in our shelter. The Women’s Interval Home is now only accepting new unopened items. The needs of our shelter are constantly changing. In order to know the most up to date needs of our shelter please contact us by email info@womensintervalhome.com. We will send you an up to date wish list for our shelter.
