W.O.M.E.N. ON THE MOVE EMPLOYMENT NOW

W.O.M.E.N.  is an employment readiness program offering skills to move from just getting by to getting ahead.

In a round table setting, participants work with facilitators from the Women’s Interval Home and Ontario Works, four days per week for a six week period, covering topics such as examining the impact of poverty, creating a plan to move forward to sustainable employment, building support networks, and learning job search and retention strategies.

Participants also receive support during the six-week program with child care, transportation, and clothing and food allowance.

At the conclusion of the program participants also receive intensive case management and job placement assistance.
