Where are we located?

If you do not have our location please phone us at (519) 336-5200 or toll free at 1-800-265-1412.  Most cab drivers and police officers will know where we are located.

How long can I stay?

Typically, but not always, stays are limited to six weeks.  Your needs are assessed and stays may be extended based on your needs.

Do I have to pay?

No.  The Women’s Interval Home of Sarnia-Lambton Inc. is funded by the provincial government, community groups and individuals.  All programs and services are free of charge.

Are my pets allowed?

No, unfortunately pets are not allowed, with the exception of service animals for medical reasons.  We will assist you in finding a safe place for your pets.

Will my partner be able to find me?

We offer a confidential service and will not give out information about your whereabouts to anyone without your permission.

The building has numerous security features in place.  All visitors must also go through a security check before entering the building.

Do I need to call before coming in?

No, we are open 24 hours a day.  It is a good idea to call ahead if you are concerned about your safety.  Staff can assist you with a safety plan for you and your children.
