- The Women's Interval Home of Sarnia and Lambton Inc. is a non-profit, charitable organization providing 24-hour short-term emergency shelter, support counselling, advocacy, and referral services to abused women and their children.
- Women and their dependent children, who are currently being abused by their primary partner (i.e., physically, emotionally, sexually, destruction of private property) may be admitted as temporary residents if deemed appropriate by staff of the Women's Interval Home.
- Women wishing to seek admission to the shelter who are being abused by someone other than their primary partner may be admitted as temporary residents if deemed appropriate by staff and the residential supervisor of the Women's Interval Home.
- An abused woman and her children not wishing to seek shelter at the Women's Interval Home, but in need of information and/or support services offered by the agency may avail themselves of these services with no fee for service.
