    Services provided by the County Outreach program include individual supportive counselling, ongoing emotional support, information regarding domestic violence, advocacy, risk assessment and safety planning.

Education

Offering information for your workplace, social groups, teams or functions.

All women, with or without dependents, who experience violence and/or abuse will be provided access to emergency shelter services, regardless of their ability, race, sexual orientation, political or religious beliefs, ethno-cultural background, First Nation, or Métis, identity, or whether they identify as two-spirited, cisgender or transgender women.

The Women's Interval Home of Sarnia and Lambton respects and acknowledges the Anishinaabeg people as the First Peoples and Traditional Custodians of the land and waterways on which the Home stands. We pay our respect to Indigenous Elders and recognize their continuous connection to land and all its beings. 

 Services in English or French, and other languages upon request. 

The Women’s Interval Home of Sarnia-Lambton offers:

  • Emergency shelter services to women and children 24 hours a day

  • 24-hour crisis / support line

  • Individual counselling for women

  • Transitional and Housing Support program

  • Support Groups

  • Child Witness – individual and group counseling

All our services are free and confidential. Multi-lingual/multi-cultural. Interpreters will be provided through an external service, and/or occasionally through on-shift internal personnel.

Our services are fully accessible, wheelchair accessible with designated parking at entrance.
